Isle of Bute Jazz Festival

The Isle of Bute Jazz Festival has been running since 1988 – when just a handful of artists performed. Nowadays, many big names attend the festival, and fans flock from all over the UK to enjoy the unique vibe on the island.

Bute is just off the West coast of Scotland – and can be easily accessed by a regular car ferry from Argyll. 2016 brings an eclectic line-up from big names like Rose Room to the Bute Community Swing Band.

While you’re there

Bute is known for its amazing gardens and architecture, and it is certainly an atmospheric place to relax. Nature lovers can look for white-tailed sea eagles and even basking sharks, and there are plenty of safe places for children to play.
