Bestival is held over 4 days, in the beautiful country park at Robin Hill. It first took place in 2004, and was founded by the Radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank and his wife Josie. Since its inception, Bestival has grown exponentially in size, and picked up many industry awards. It is smaller than the Isle of Wight festival, and known for its alternative atmosphere. They give equal credence to dance music as to bands.
In 2010, they achieved the World Record for the most people in fancy dress (55,000!) due to their popular themed fancy dress Saturday.

The festival has a lot of involvement with local and international charities, and was a founding member of the Greener Festival Alliance.
Desert Island Disco was the theme for 2014, with thousands of visitors in fancy dress. Appropriately, the festival created the world’s largest disco ball for the event, at over 10 metres wide!
The headliners included Outkast, Foals, Beck, Chic and Nile Rogers. DJs included the giants Chase and Status, as well as DJ Yoda, Bonobo, Jaguar Skills and Annie Mac.

Hosted by BigTopMania, the Kids Garden offers a huge range of activities – from circus skills to giant bubbles! There is also a crafts tent, hundreds of circus shows, bouncy castles and an under 5’s area.
This thought-provoking area provides many opportunities for learning about a better future. Tents include the Besti-versity, with talks from some of the world’s leading thinkers to Wight Astronomy who will be demonstrating some of their world-class telescopes. Rob Da Bank’s Music Club offers the chance to learn to DJ, street dance or play any instrument – free of charge.
This is a unique cocktail bar, serving cocktails inspired by foraged herbs and medicinal plants – such as the Lemon Thyme Vodka Long. Drinks are served in delightful jam jars from a gypsy Roma caravan.

Our compact Small Motorhomes are the Flash 02/04s. Ideal for a couple, there is a double bed, and a single bed that can be used for a baby or small child as well. This model is perfect for weekends away – full size height inside but small enough to park in an average car park when you need to pick up some supplies.

The Medium motorhomes we have to hire are the Flash 03s. These vehicles are ideal for a small family – two adults and two children would fit perfectly. There are two bunk beds and a fantastic kingsize double bed which sits over the cabin. Two couples could also share the Flash 03, as the bunks are large enough to accommodate an adult – you’d have to toss a coin for who gets the kingsize bed though! If you have overnight guests the dinette table can be folded down to create a smaller double bed too.
