The Cadbury factory

The Cadbury factory opened at the end of the 19th Century at Bournville, and the iconic chocolate factory was born. If you love a spot of chocolate and you'd like to know more about the history of the UK's favourite bar, then you can head to Cadbury World.

National Sea Life Centre

If you are looking for great day out with children, then check out the National Sea Life Centre. The Centre can be found in the heart of the city and it promises an entertaining and educational day out for the whole family.

BBC Birmingham at The Mailbox

Fans of The Archers and the Asian network (to name a couple!) can visit The Mailbox, which has hosted many popular shows since 2004.

The interactive Public Space gives visitors the opportunity to have a go at reading a news or weather report, and you can peek through the windows at BBC WM and Asian Network presenters for a real flavour of the BBC in action. The Public Space welcomes visitors from Monday-Saturday 9.30-5.30pm, and Sunday 11-5pm.

If you are interested to dig a little deeper into the workings of BBC radio station then you can book a tour, where visitors can get a behind-the-scenes look into the world of radio production. You might even get a look into the legendary Archers studio if your visit coincides with their production schedule.
